What are the different image classifications?
There are eight different types of image classifications. The 1st one is notation which is a lineal representation of the object characterized by the minimalistic. The 2nd one is pictography which is a universal picture that denotes an object, place, or activity. The silhouette which is an abject shape that is fully blotted out by color. Next is linear when the main element is line use to unify and describe form. Contour is outlining a objects shape. The 6th one is light and shadow which is used to describe the 3D space that the object takes up. Naturalistic or realistic is using full color and trying to represent the object as if it was a photograph. The last one is the opposite if this it is expressionistic which is highly stylized and subjective to what the user wants to do.

What purpose do icons serve?
That are pictorial images used to represent objects actions in concepts. represents or at least shares some qualities with it. the purpose they serve is to have a minimalistic icon that everybody knows what it stands for example the magnifying glass that signifies search engines search function. Also, like how lightning bolts represent electricity
Different ways to visualize form?

There is may different was to visualize form. you could use
· sharpness versus diffusion.
· Accuracy versus distortion
· Economy versus intricacy
· subtle versus bold
· predictable versus spontaneous
· opaque versus transparent
· hard edge versus brushy
· proximate vision versus distance vison
How do you know which visualization method to employ?
Designers utilize different types of violation in their creative process and during the concept development. Choose a finalized method you should keep in mind your audience and the theme you want to have.
